These renewable electric generation resources, located mostly at high elevation in California mountain ranges including the Sierra Nevada and southern Cascade mountains include 68 powerhouses, 184 miles of canals, 41 miles of flumes, 135 miles of tunnels, 19 miles of penstocks, 99 reservoirs, and 142,000 acres of watershed lands all covered by 26 operating licenses issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Position Summary Monitors and supports the overall apprentice training program for an assigned geographic area.
Monitors and tracks all phases of the apprentice training program.
Identifies and corrects conditions or situations that interfere with the efficient training and timely progression of all apprentices.
This position requires travel up to 50% and monthly travel to Auburn.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting.
This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.
The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $53.
84 to $90.

Job Responsibilities Maintain a thorough inventory of all requirements as they apply to each apprentice program and develop action plans as needed to maintain compliance.
(Part of sub-committee for JATC on disciplinary actions) Establish committee structures and work with the various lines of business to maintain compliance, acquire needed budget and develop strategies to reduce risk to company employees, union affiliates and PG&E.
Develop new and revised tools and business processes that support all apprentice programs.
Serve as advisory member to the JATC and report out on a monthly basis on status and progress including corrective action plans.
Report out to officer and senior officer teams on compliance related issues and assist them in developing and implementing action plans.
Support Labor Relations with updating Master Apprenticeship Agreement and any other supporting LOA's etc.
to meet program requirements and union obligations.
Develop relationships and serve as the primary liaison with Local Education Administrators to establish accreditation.
Responsible for applying for and managing budgets or grants as they apply to the various programs.
Train and mentor other Apprentice Coordinators May manage direct reports as determined by organizational needs.
Work with ISTS and HRIS to establish tracking and reporting tools for all apprentice programs.
Ensure that applications meet all regulatory reporting requirements as established by various agencies.
Establish pre-apprentice training requirements and programs with other departments within PG&E and external entities to include Community Colleges, High Schools, Economic Workforce Development Boards and employee associations.
Acts as field trainer to aid apprentice development Deliver select training courses and assist as a Subject Matter Expert during the process of creating and maintaining training courses Qualifications Minimum:
High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma Experience in Technical trade, journey level, 5 years, or equivalent experience Desired:
Holds a journeymen certification in an electrical discipline with 4
years working experience Experience in technical training, job-related Experience as Technical Instructor CompTIA-Computing Technology Industry Association CTT-Certified Technical Trainer certification #featuredjob.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
