Our clients are both new and longstanding and we provide care for many types of patients, including cats, dogs, rabbits, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, zoo animals, wildlife, and many more.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, ability to multitask, excellent time management skills, and that can work well in a team environment.
Our RVTs work directly with our doctors and support staff in a collaborative environment to provide the best care to our patients and clients.
Experience with exotic species is preferred but not required.
This candidate should be committed to building and strengthening the client-patient-practice relationship with the friendliness and care that our clients can count on.
Our ideal candidate has experience in the following areas:
Obtaining accurate medical history Maintaining accurate electronic medical records Client Education Restraint Venipuncture IV catheter placement Drug calculations Anesthesia induction and monitoring Canine/feline dentistry Radiology (digital and dental) Requirements:
Must be- Proficient in electronic medical records (Cornerstone preferred), computer skills, typing.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented, reliable, and honest.
Experience- 2-year minimum as a Registered Veterinary Technician Job Types:
